Robank® Quench®

Electrolytes are minerals that play a critical role in maintaining fluid balance, osmotic pressure, and nerve and muscle activity in horses. Key electrolytes, including sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium and calcium are lost in sweat during hot weather and strenuous exercise. Loss of these electrolytes can result in fatigue, muscle weakness and decreased thirst response to dehydration.

It is important to note that electrolytes are not just limited to performance horses and that your paddock and pleasure horse can suffer from a depletion of vital electrolytes resulting in dehydration during the hotter months.

Robank® Quench® provides significant amounts of key electrolytes in a readily absorbed form. Sodium and Chloride are provided as natural salt which is crushed to enhance mixing and palatability. Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium are added to maximise digestive absorption and replace key electrolytes.
